
Chamomile, Roman
A perennial chamomile with a stronger fragrance than German Chamomile. Requires a moist, cool climate to thrive. Self-sows and naturalizes in cool climate areas. Keep well weeded the first year. Makes a delicate blonde hair rinse after flower heads are dried, boiled, and strained. (Chamaemelum nobile)
Medicinal: Medicinal uses are similar to German Chamomile.
Growing instructions: Perennial in zones 3-7. A light dependent germinator. Germination at 55°F to 65°F. Transplant. Space 12" apart. Full sun. Grows 9"-18" tall.
