This selection of Brandywine was declared: "The best strain of 'Brandywine', set apart from the others by its smooth, creamy, almost buttery texture, and harmonious sweet flavor." This is the best of the Brandywine cultivars. It is fairly uniform in shape, highly productive, heat tolerant, and one of the more delicious tomatoes of hundreds of varieties that we have grown. Flavor is rich, sweet, multidimensional and the texture is smooth and buttery. Fruits are an attractive deep red with an orange undertone.
