Mid-season maturity. Seed sent to us by Dr. Terry Berke at the Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center. Ripens from green to red. Fruits are large, mostly 3-lobed, pimiento-like tapering bells with a rich, deep red color. The core is deeply recessed and easy to remove, allowing for quick preparation. The brightly colored flesh is aromatic, sweet, and tangy. Flavor ranks in the top 5% of peppers we have grown. 'Milord' is, indeed, appropriately named. Plants average 2 1/2 feet tall with good foliage cover of the fruit.
