Don Pedros Four O' Clocks

Four O'Clocks: Don Pedros

  • $3.60

Our neighbor brought this heirloom back from her mother's home in Spain where this flower is locally known as 'Don Pedros'. Flowers are primarily fuchsia or yellow, while a few plants display both colors in spotted and striped color variations. Very similar to the fragrant, old-fashioned Four O'Clock which opens at approximately four o'clock in the afternoon (before Daylight Savings time came into effect). The fragrant flowers are pollinated at dusk by large hawk moths and sphinx moths. (Mirabilis jalapa)
